Booking Changes

Access to this option is controlled by "Permission option" 7.

Select the "Change " button in "Booking Details" to start this option.

What can not be changed

The only details which can not be changed here on a Booking are

  • The Accommodation type
  • The arrival date
  • The length of stay
  • What can be changed

  • Details of the arrival vehicle, registration, taxi or limo firm
  • Source of the booking enquiry
  • Wake-up call time if relevant
  • Agent. Agent contact information is changed using the " Agents
  • " option

  • Commission rate paid to the Agent
  • Card details used to secure the booking
  • Booking Total. A discount is applied to the "Accommodation" part of a booking.
  • Language of the Guest
  • Status. A booking can only be cancelled using the "Cancel" option in "Booking Details"
  • Lead name
  • Number of Adults
  • Number of Children
  • Number of Infants
  • Number of Babies
  • Basis - available meals
  • Estimated arrival time
  • Booking Types
  • Names
  • . Names of all guests are changed using the "Names" option in " Booking Details "

  • Extras. Extras on a booking are changed using the " Extras
  • " option in "Booking Details"

  • Payments
  • . Payments are made to a booking using the "Payments" option in " Booking Details "

  • Client
  • The Unit number or Code requested by the Guest online or in person
  • The Group Booking
  • If Property Owner settings have been entered then the following are also available.

  • Requested unit at time of online booking
  • Owner booking or Owner guest booking
  • Keys required on arrival
  • Charge for Cleaning and Linen
  • End of Stay clean required
  • Change of Linen required
  • If property inspected then an Inspection Fee will be required
  • Charge booking handling fee, charge the Property Owner the "Extra " - OWNBOOKFEE for handling the booking
  • Price change

    If any of the above may change the price of a booking, Booking price change will be launched. Here you can Confirm, Ignore or not implement the changes.

    Status changes

    You can change any status provided the booking is not cancelled. If you need to "uncancel" a booking it must be re-entered using " Booking Entry".

    Valid Booking statuses

  • Booked
  • Confirmed
  • Departed/Checked-out
  • Cancelled
  • Clients

    Use the button to select a Client.

    Property Owners

    Changing the value of a Booking/Discount

    You can change the value of a booking at any time and/or make it Free if required.

    Enter the new total value or if you want to make this a free booking - tick the "Free" box

    Group Bookings

    Group Bookings are lots of individual bookings "grouped together". If you want to associate a booking with a Group Booking add the Group Booking number using this option.
