![]() TheCalendar The calendar shows a single year at a time. The calendar is made up of 12 rows (one for each month) and 31 columns (one for each day). Each day can be 1 of 5 colours. White - Not provided Yellow - Unknown Red - Unavailable Green - Available Blue - Booked Not provided A property is owned from a date to another date. accommres knows these dates and only shows information for dates which the owner is entitled to look at. The owner can not see any information before they acquired the property or information after they disposed of the property. White is also the background of the calendar area. Unknown This is either because you have no internet connection or because no information has been entered into our servers for that year yet. Typically this would happen when looking several years in the future. When you look at information for a property and year it is saved on your computer. If you run accommres again without an internet connection then it will use the last saved data. After a while the only reason for "Unknown" is if you are looking at a new year or we have no data on our server for that year. You can not make changes to unknown dates this can only be done by the Property Management company. Unavailable For an unknown reason determined by the owner for example maintenance or a private owner booking, the property is not available. It can not be booked but it can be made available. Available The property can be booked or made unavailable on this date. Booked The property is occupied with a booking on this date, the beds will be occupied that night. You can not make any changes to this date. If you want to make changes you must contact your Property Management company. If you click a "Booked" day the Booking information window is presented with all the information for that booking. Changing the status of a day or days You do this with your mouse. You can change one or more days at a time. Once you make a change the button (bottom right) will become enabled. Only when this button is clicked will your changes be uploaded to our servers. So, dont worry about changing things and making a mistake. Changes are only applied when the update button is clicked. There are 2 methods, but first you must select the dates to change. Click on the first date (left mouse button) and drag the mouse to the last date you want to change. It does not matter if this overlaps "not provided" or "booked" dates, these will be ignored. You can drag left, right, up, down and change more than one date at a time or block of dates. When ready release the left mouse button. The area/range selected will become highlighted. To change a single date just click on it once and it will become highlighted. ![]() In the above example the 18th to 21st of July, August, September and October have been selected. 1st method Click the right mouse button and a little menu will appear (see below). Use the left mouse button and click on the colour you want to change to. ![]() 2nd method Use the row of colour squares at the bottom of the window to make the change. ![]() Click on the Available or Unavailable square with your mouse. In both cases as soon as you select the new status the change is made on your computer. The area selected for change will still be "grey". Click somewhere else on the calendar to move the cursor and the changes will be visible. It will not become "live" until the "Update" button is selected (bottom right) and the change uploaded using the internet to our servers. Updating our servers After making changes you must select the "Update" button (bottom right). This will take all your changes and immediately send them to our server. As soon as this has been completed you will receive a confirmation message. Once you have the message you can make more changes, look at bookings or close accommres. As soon as your changes are passed to our server they are put in a queue to be processed usually within a few seconds. The availability of your property is not only updated with your property management or listing company. They may be using our full accommres product to "feed" availability information on your property to other websites and companies, usually to generate bookings for you. Your availability is passed to these other companies immediately also. |
